Azerbaijan's oil output dips 2.8 percent in H1

(MENAFN) Azerbaijan's oil and condensate output dropped 2.8 percent in the first half of 2014, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

The drop was mainly driven by declines at fields operated by BP, a source at the State Statistics Committee said.

The oil and condensate output was 21.2m tons in the first six months compared with 21.8m in the same period of 2013, the source said.

Falling output at the main Azeri, Chirag and Guneshli (ACG) oilfields, had previously raised concerns in Baku.
