Syria- Forty people killed in clashes between Kurd and ISIL combatants


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Approximately forty fighters were killed in clashes between Kurdish and ISIL combatants, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

About sixteen Kurdish fighters were killed in the northeastern part of the township of Ain Eisa, four of them died as a result of a suicide bomb by an ISIL fighter, the rest of the sixteen died in the armed clashes.

Up to twenty-two ISIL fighters also died in an area east of Ain Al-Arab and south of Tal Abyadh, said the statement.

Meanwhile, government planes ran a series of attacks in the Al-Reqa province, targeting some ISIL training camps.
