(MENAFN - #Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) #Morocco strongly condemned on Wednesday the ongoing Israeli escalation against the Gaza Strip and on the Palestinian people, which left over 40 people dead and several others injured.

Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation reiterated in a statement on Wednesday its concern about continuing Israeli aggression against civilians, denouncing Israel's unjustified and unacceptable escalation.

The statement warned at the same time of the serious consequences of the Israeli attacks on efforts made to push forward the peace process.

It also called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the Israeli aggression in order to protect the Palestinian people and their rights, and to force #Israel to abide by international legitimacy.
