(MENAFN) Bahrain's housing ministry has agreed to issue four tenders for giant companies intend to bid for projects in Al Madina Al Shamliya, according to the Emirates 24/7.
Al Madina Al Shamliya project will include the construction of 15.000 houses for Bahrainis.
The first tender will be issued for consultancy firms that will manage the infrastructure work, services and bridges construction on the man-made islands 10, 11 and 12. The second involves design work for houses on those islands
The third tender was addressed to contracting companies to build bridges and causeways to link islands 9 with 10 and islands 11 with 12.
The last tender is for infrastructure and services work on Islands 10, 11 and 12, and all those projects will be financed by the government-owned Abu Dhabi Development Fund.
