Israeli Warplanes Strike Targets across Gaza Strip


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Za July 06 (QNA) - Israeli warplanes launched multiple airstrikes across the Gaza Strip early Sunday morning without causing injuries locals told (Ma'an) News Agency.

In Gaza City a missile hit a military base known as Abu Jarad in the southern outskirts of the city and an open area near a car market in the Zaytoun neighborhood.

On Saturday night Israeli jets fired a missile at a group of Palestinians in the Musabbih neighborhood in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip injuring two.

Another airstrike on southern Gaza hit a poultry farm in al-Qarara north of Khan Younis.

In an emailed statement Israel's military confirmed the strikes and said they were in retaliation for rocket fire. (QNA
