(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Oman's Ali Moosa al Moosa, UAE's Hussain Umid Ali and Spain's Marc Planas took home the opening day's honours in the Ramadan Motor #Sports Festival, which got underway at the #Oman Automobile Association facilities on Thursday.
Moosa clinched title in the nine-lap first race of the Sodi World Series (SWS) Karting Challenge, while Ali claimed top spot in the 11-lap second race. Planas emerged champion in the Time Attack Challenge, the third event of the night.
Braving hot and humid conditions, 26 drivers -18 in the senior section and eight in the junior category - fought for the titles in the two karting races.Results: SWS Sprint Race (Senior): Rce One (Nine laps):
