UAE leaders congratulate new Spanish King Felipe VI


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The uae ambassador to spain hessa abdullah al otaiba attended the coronation of new spanish king felipe vi at the royal palace on thursday.

the king was proclaimed spain’s new head of state after king juan carlos i signed his abdication bill into law.

a host of spanish cabinet ministers officials members of parliament leaders of spanish parties dignitaries and diplomats attended the coronation ceremony.

ambassador al otaiba conveyed to king felipe vi greetings from the president his highness shaikh khalifa bin zayed al nahyan; his highness shaikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum vice-president and prime minister of the uae and ruler of dubai; general shaikh mohammed bin zayed al nahyan crown prince of abu dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the uae armed forces; and shaikh abdullah bin zayed al nahyan foreign minister and their wishes for the new monarch’s successful reign.

al otaiba also underlined the depth of the friendship and bilateral relations between the uae and spain.
