ahmed mahboob musabih director of dubai customs on wednesday said the move is in pursuance of the vision of his highness shaikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum vice-president and prime minister of the uae and ruler of dubai.
“dubai customs’ smart watch site is compatible with all screen sizes. the interface features windows that provide direct access to the desired service.”
the smart watch-operated services include applications progress enquiry service customs declaration progress enquiry inspection request enquiry refund application progress enquiry and registration application progress enquiry.
“customers can access dubai customs smart watch services through the website ‘watch.dubaicustoms.ae’.”
musabih said the service coincides with the government work system launched by shaikh hamdan bin mohammed bin rashid al maktoum crown prince of dubai and chairman of the dubai executive council to lay the foundation stone for creating a smart government in all dubai government departments.
he said as the first fully-fledged smart government department the dubai customs will constantly incorporate the latest in the area of customer service.
