Khalifa Foundation projects benefit 100000 families


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The projects were implemented in collaboration with the uae embassy in cairo through four stages.

in implementation of the directives of the president his highness shaikh khalifa bin zayed al nahyan the khalifa bin zayed al nahyan foundation has carried out a number of projects in egypt. about 100000 families have benefited from the projects which cost about 70 million egyptian pounds.

the projects were supported by general shaikh mohammed bin zayed al nahyan crown prince of abu dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the uae armed forces and followed up by shaikh mansour bin zayed al nahyan deputy prime minister and minister of presidential affairs and chairman of the khalifa foundation.

mohammed haji al khouri the foundation’s director-general highlighted the uae leadership’s keenness to offer a helping hand to egypt. he added the projects were implemented in collaboration with the uae embassy in cairo through four stages. the first two stages have been implemented while the other two will be implemented before the end of the year.

al khouri said the third and fourth stages are targeting the poorest families in the governorates of egypt and these phases will include charitable projects.

al orman association which cooperated with the foundation in implementing these projects expressed its thanks and appreciation to the uae’s wise leadership and the foundation’s support. egyptian families benefiting from the projects expressed their deep appreciation.
