Kuwait- 575 illegal residents get drivers' licenses in 2014


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A total of 575 drivers' licenses were issued for illegal residents in the first three months of this year, the Central Agency for Remedying Illegal Residents' Status announced here Saturday. Acting director of the information department at the Agency Abdullah Al-Farhan told KUNA that 331 drivers' licenses were issued in Jahra Governorate, 83 ones in Farwaniya Governorate, 74 in Al-Assimah Governorate, 23 in Hawalli Governorate and 17 in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate. The move is part of a cabinet decree adopted in 2011 to provide privileges and facilities to illegal residents including males and females.
