Qatar, Iran to strengthen cooperation ties


(MENAFN) Qatar plans to strengthen trade and cooperation ties with Iran, according to QNA. The announcement was revealed in a meeting between Qatar's Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani and Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tayyeb-Nia. During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways of raising relations between them, in addition to aspects of joint cooperation, especially in economic and trade fields. It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between Qatar and Iran estimated at USD0.887 million in 2013.
