UAE's money supply up 3.5 percent in April


(MENAFN) The UAE's money supply aggregate M1 saw a 3.5 percent growth at the end of April reaching USD116.042 billion compared to USD112.149 billion at the end of March, 2014, according to the Emirates 24/7. The money supply aggregate M0 (currency in circulation + currency at banks) dropped by 0.2 percent, from USD17.74 billion for the same period. The money supply aggregate M2, which comprises of M1 and quasi-monetary fell by 0.1 percent, from USD306.04 billion at the end of March to USD305.879 billion at the end-April.
