Power visits Jordan, Turkey to discuss effects of Syria conflict


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power will travel to Jordan and Turkey on June 10-14 to discuss with senior officials the effects of the conflict in Syria on those two countries, her press office said in a statement. Power, who is also a Cabinet member in the Obama Administration, will discuss a "range of issues, including the effects of the conflict in Syria" with senior government officials, UN agencies representatives, humanitarian non-governmental organizations, and civil society leaders.
