Kuwait- Education Minister's resignation accepted


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait city may 26 (agencies): the resignation of minister of education and minister of higher education ahmad al-mulaifi has been accepted the cabinet said. a decree has been consequently issued handpicking deputy prime minister and minister of commerce and industry abdulmohsen al-mudej as acting minister of education and minister of higher education the cabinet said during a weekly meeting on monday.

the causes of the minister's resignation were mentioned in his letter presented to the cabinet minister of state for cabinet affairs and acting minister of justice sheikh mohammad abdullah al-mubarak al-sabah said in news statements following the meeting.

the cabinet thanked the resigning minister for his efforts during his term of office wishing him success in his future career he pointed out.

earlier this month hh the amir sheikh sabah al-ahmad al- sabah accepted the resignation of islamic affairs minister nayef al-ajmi who quit citing health reasons. ajmi was accused by a senior us official of promoting jihad in syria.
