(MENAFN - #Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani congratulated Egypt's President-elect Abdulfattah Al-Sisi on his landslide victory in the presidential elections.

"This victory embodies the historic and prominent role, loyal patriotic generosity and high leadership qualities of the elected President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi," Al-Zayani said in a congratulatory cab addressed to the new Egyptian leader.


"The Egyptian elections have crowned the direction and determination towards building a modern and creative democratic order," he added.

He went on to convey his best wishes of success to Al-Sisi, and his nation growth and prosperity under his leadership, expressing hope #Egypt would someday regain its leading position on the Arab, Islamic and international stages.
