(MENAFN - Arab News) Samba financial group was the main sponsor of the 7th saudi career day in washington. the group also took part in various related activities including the honoring of the seventh batch of graduates from the united states under the king abdullah foreign scholarship program.
the group stated that this is part of the efforts of the bank's continued efforts to promote the localization of jobs. the group claims to have exceeded 91 percent saudization in line with its commitment to social responsibility and its contribution to the provision of job opportunities for young saudis.
the career day was held with the support of minister of higher education khaled al-anqari and the kingdom's ambassador in the united states adel al-jueir from may 24 to 27 in washington dc with the participation of 12500 graduates from american universities and institutions.
the career day activities also included a presentation on the career opportunities available to the graduates from a variety of disciplines as well as on the work environment at the samba which is claimed to be the most sought after among job seekers.
the group also focused on the saudi career day organized by king fahd university of petroleum and minerals as well as in other saudi universities and academic institutions including the university of imam muhammad bin saud and al-yamamah university the college of business administration and the institute of public administration both in jeddah and al-faisal university.
