Hotel occupancy in Abu Dhabi up 10 percent in April


(MENAFN) Number of guests in Abu Dhabi's hotels and hotel apartments boosted by 29 percent, or 304,637 guests, in April compared to the same period 2013, according to Gulf News. Occupancy increased 10 percent to reach 79 percent, while revenues boosted 23 percent to USD157.06 million. Jasem Al Darmaki, deputy director-general of TCA Abu Dhabi, said: "Our immediate challenge is to address the average-length-of-stay which dipped in April by 2 per cent to 3.07 nights."
