Kuwait's Crude Exports to Japan Falls 35.0 PCT in April


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kyo june 02 (qna) - kuwait's crude oil exports to japan fell 35.0 percent in april from a year earlier to 5.30 million barrels or 177000 barrels per day (bpd) for the first decline in two months government data showed.

as japan's fifth-biggest oil provider kuwait supplied 5.0 percent of the asian nation's total crude imports the japanese natural resources and energy agency said in a preliminary report.

japan's overall imports of crude oil slid 4.3 percent year-on-year to 3.53 million bpd for the second consecutive monthly decline. shipments from the middle east accounted for 79.9 percent of the total down 1.5 percentage points from a year before. (qna)
