(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Public Authority for People with Special Needs will hold Sunday a meeting to review ministries' abidance by law No. 8 of 2010 on the employment of the people with disabilities.
In a press statement, the authority's Director General Jassem Al-Tammar said Saturday that all government ministries, institutions and public authorities will be represented at the meeting by a senior official, at the level of undersecretary or assistant undersecretary.
He added the meeting will tackle different challenges facing the qualification and employment of people with disabilities.
Al-Tammar said that the authority eyes effective communication network with all government bodies to serve disabled people.
He noted that the authority seeks to hold a similar meeting with representatives of the private sector to find more job openings and to offer support to people with disabilities.
