Emirates to add new destination in India


(MENAFN) Emirates has announced its plan to expand its destination network to up to 28 destinations, adding daily A380 flights to Mumbai International Airport on July 21, according to Arab News. EK 500 and EK 501 between Dubai and Mumbai will boost the capacity by 2.127 seats per week in each direction by the new three-class A380 aircraft. Ahmed Khoory, Emirates' senior vice president, commercial operations, said: "Emirates has been serving India since our founding year in 1985, and it is our largest market today which we serve with 185 flights each week." Emirates also plans to deploy larger Boeing 777 aircraft to Delhi and Hyderabad to cover the passenger growing demand.
