(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Allotments of the 645 shops that are available in 44 Al Furjan Markets (that are located in remote areas of Qatar to serve residents of those localities) will be decided through lottery at 4.30pm on June 1, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said in a statement yesterday. The Ministry said that some 4,524 (Qatari) companies have registered their names to take part in the raffle. The last date for registration was yesterday.
Only 1,200 applicants have provided bank guarantee of QR50,000 each. Those who have not provided bank guarantee have been asked by the Ministry to do so by 12 noon on May 29 or they would not be allowed to take part in the allotment process.
