(MENAFN - Arab News) Authorities have issued official directives to private hospitals and medical centers not to recruit doctors and health practitioners already working with the government.
the directives also called on medical authorities to submit a list of government staff working in the private sector for punitive action.
the new directives also include medical faculty members and emoyees at saudi universities.
government employees found guilty of working in the private sector are liable to pay a sr100000 fine or more for repeat offenses.
these calls were renewed after reports submitted by five official organizations said that several government and health care practitioners are working simultaneously at private institutions after hours in contravention of the law.
