(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait SC won the bronze medal after beating UAE's Al-Ahli 97-66 in the GCC Basketball Championship held in Doha, on Monday.
Kuwait was leading 17-16 in the first quarter and widened the lead to 47-32 by the end of the first half. The third quarter in in favor of Kuwait 74-49 and the team ended the encounter winning the third place.
Hamad Adnan was Kuwait's top scorer with 17 points.
Al-Sadd of Qatar won the championship after beating Al-Wasl of UAE 79-70.
