Qatar- Proserv opens facility in New Industrial Area


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Proserv Qatar, a technology and service provider to the global energy industry with unique offerings in the marine, subsea, drilling and production domains, yesterday announced the official opening of its new manufacturing and service facility in New Industrial Area in Doha. An Open Day event, hosted by Proserv, was widely attended by many key faces of the energy sector in Qatar, with Sheikh Khalifa bin Fahed bin Mohamed Al Thani and Yousef Al Emadi, Director of Industrial Zones, officially inaugurated the manufacturing and service facility. "We are local in Qatar and we have been for years. With the opening of this new facility we are now more equipped than ever to meet the growing demands of this dynamic market. We now provide the full range of Proserv products and services via local Qatari content and we are proud to do so," said Andy Anderson (pictured), President- Proserv Middle East and North Africa. Proserv's primary focus is in manufacturing high quality products and providing fit for purpose fast solutions to the local market. It recently joined forces through a Joint Venture partnership with Sheikh Khalifa bin Fahed, Chairman KBF Trading & Contracting to increase their reputation and further develop relationships in the Qatari market. Proserv demonstrated and displayed many of their key products at the event with the main attraction being the Marine Technology Equipment demonstrations of their Pipeline Coating Removal Tool and Friction Stud Welding Tool. In May of last year Proserv were Gold Sponsors at the 2nd Annual Corrosion Management Summit in Doha and plan to partake in many more events in the future.
