(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Racas may 18 (qna) - palestinian president mahmoud abbas concluded sunday a three-day visit to venezuela where he met with venezuelan president nicolas maduro and senior state officials.
the palestinian president signed with his venezuelan counterpart a cooperation agreement related to the first part of the bilateral energy agreement which allows venezuela to provide part of the diesel needs to palestine during the next five years at premium prices. the presidents also signed another agreement to avoid double taxation.
on friday president abbas held talks with the venezuelan president on the latest developments in the palestinian territories in light of israel's continued escalation as well as the efforts of the palestinian reconciliation and the relations between palestine and venezuela. (qna)
