UAE's Depa profit up 27 percent in Q1


(MENAFN) Depa Limited, the interior contracting firm which fitted out the Burj Khalifa, posted a 27 percent growth in net profit in the first three months of this year to reach USD3.8 million, according to Arabian Business. Group revenues also grew by 3 percent to USD125.50 million in the first three months of this year. Depa's total assets were estimated at USD876 million at the end of the first quarter and its cash at bank reached USD105.90 million. Hasan Ismaik, chairman of Depa Limited, said: "We are encouraged by the solid start to the year both financially and operationally. We have posted a net profit and an increase in both group revenues and gross profits."
