(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Artists from four countries have come together to raise funds for children with disabilities and have showcased their works at the International Charity Art Exhibition' organised by the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities along with Bait al Zubair.
The week-long show began on Monday.
''We want people to come and enjoy the exhibition. It has been put up for a noble cause. We will continue with such endeavours in future as well,'' said Megainy bint Mansoor al Juma, manager, Bait al Zubair Museum.
Among the persons whose works have been featured is French artist Ahlam Lemseffer. Her works range from RO750 to RO3,500.
Decorated by the French Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters in Paris in 2008, Ahlam has held many group exhibitions in several countries. Iranian artist Saeed Rezai's works are priced between RO1,200 and RO1,500.
Rezai is also the deputy head of Iran's Cultural and Artistic Institute of Art and culture.
Internationally acclaimed Slovenian artist and intellectual Jure Cekuta has also displayed his works. Cekuta's art pieces cost somewhere between RO350 and RO2,500. Known for her neo-surrealist style, Bosnian artist Branka Turkic's graphic and images show the common dandelion motif. Branka's works cost from RO350 to RO500.
The exhibition will be open for visitors from 9.30am to 6pm and will run till May 18.<
