(MENAFN- The Peninsula) US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel is welcomed by Saudi Deputy Defence Minister Salman bin Sultan on his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah yesterday. Hagel is on a regional tour focusing on Iran's nuclear programme and Syria's civil war. He will hold talks with Saudi officials and meet Gulf Cooperation Council defence ministers today in the first US-GCC meeting of its kind since 2008.
