Emirates Group's profits surge in 2014


(MENAFN) The UAE-based Emirates Group, which owns Emirates airline and travel agency dnata, registered an increase percent in profits by 31.6, hitting USD1.1 billion, marking the 26th consecutive profitable year for the group, Gulf News reported. The group's revenue increased by 13.2 percent to USD23.89 billion compared to a year earlier, in which revenue reached USD21.1 billion. Cash assets declined by 29.6 percent to USD5.17 billion. However, it invested a record USD5.98 billion across its portfolio up until March 31.
