lahore high court (lhc) chief justice umar ata bandial on wednesday abruptly adjourned hearing in a petition filed by the pakistan tehreek-i-insaaf (pti) amid rowdy scenes allegedly created by the party workers who stormed the court room while raising slogans.
pti chief imran khan has moved the court for vacating its stay order issued in june last year suspending thumb verification of votes cast in lahore’s constituency 122 where hehad lost to national assembly speaker sardar ayaz sadiq.

the pti workers accompanying imran entered the court room breaking the door and flower pots while some raised slogans. in disgust the chief justice left the room despite verbal apology offered by imran’s counsel ahmed owais.
