Oman's Q1 oil output rises 1


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman's oil production rose one per cent in the first quarter of this year. Crude prices and total exports, however, declined during the same period, according to official data.

Oil production rose to 85.3mn barrels, compared with 84.5mn barrels during the same period in 2013. Average price during the same period was US$105.96 per barrel with average daily production was 948,400 barrels. 

Meanwhile, natural gas production, which includes imports and local production, declined by 7.6 per cent to 8,991mn m3, compared with 9,732mn m3 during the same period in 2013.
