Flydubai to Start Flights to Three Indian Cities in June


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Dubai May 05 - Flydubai will next month start flights from Dubai to three Indian cities the UAE carrier said at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) event here today.

The low-cost carrier will start flights Thiruvananthapuram Kochi and Delhi from Dubai taking the number of its services to six Indian cities airline CEO Gaith Al Gaith said here on Monday.

These additions will double flydubai's number of its destinations in India.

From June 1 the airline will start a four times a week service linking Delhi and Dubai while three times a week service linking Thiruvananthapuram and Dubai will start the following day.

The carrier will also launch flights to Almaty and Shymkent in Kazakhstan later this year. Last year Flydubai added 17 new destinations to its network.

Flydubai CEO Al Ghaith said "Today's route announcements demonstrate the role we are playing in developing the tourism industry. Our commitment is to further strengthen the trade travel and tourism links in the region by opening up previously underserved markets supports The Dubai Tourism Vision 2020." In its fifth year flydubai has created a network of 74 destinations in 35 countries.
