(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman Air, the national airline of Oman, has declared its participation as lead sponsor of Jobex 2014 to be a great success.
The annual event, held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Muscat, is one of the Gulf region's leading recruitment and career guidance forums and is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Manpower.
The event provided an ideal platform for individuals from throughout Oman interested in current vacancies, career options and training programmes offered by some of the biggest industry players within the region. Held in parallel with Jobex are the Global Higher Education Exhibition (Ghedex) and the Training Exhibition (Trainex), both of which provide school and college graduates with information and advice about the opportunities open to them within higher education and the job market.
Oman Air's support to the event underlined the airline's continuing commitment to providing careers and training for Omani nationals. Dr Rashid al Ghailani, chief officer, human resources at Oman Air said, ''Oman Air is proud to have been the Lead Sponsor of Jobex 2014, during which we offered advice and guidance to visitors about the range of career options and training programmes we offer at Oman Air.
As a result, we hope to make a number of appointments in the near future. Oman Air is committed to maximising employment opportunities for young Omanis, and we believe that new graduates, who have just a few years of work experience, are one of the sultanate's most valuable resource.''
