(MENAFN) Trade volume between Saudi Arabia and Singapore hit USD13.8 billion in 2013, making the kingdom Singapore's second largest trade partner, Arab News reported. The Singaporean senior minister of state for trade and industry and national development is scheduled to visit the Gulf state next month to highlight the depth of economic relations between them. The chairman of the Saudi-Singapore Business Council said that the Singaporean senior minister of state will also co-chair the meeting of the Joint Committee for the Free Trade Agreement between the GCC and Singapore with the deputy Saudi finance minister. The free trade agreement is considered as a result of the robust relations between Singapore and the GCC in general.
