Dubai Police to establish USD100m forensic lab


(MENAFN) Dubai Police said that it plans for a USD100 million forensic science and criminology laboratory, to be the first of its kind in the region, Arabian Business reported. The proposed laboratory will provide DNA, toxicology, firearms, document and fingerprint testing. The facility is estimated at a cost of USD100.7 million and is set to open by the end of the year. The building in which the lab will be set up will have a total area of 420,000 square feet and is to have six main departments.
