in his remarks during the tour to the 4-storey building which is under construction on a total area of 420000 square feet at the headquarters of dubai police shaikh mohammed congratulated members of the staff on the achievement which he said will become a scientific monument with the latest technology and qualified national human resources.he viewed the plans of the dh370-million building which will house six main departments and 27 new sections in addition to a training institute which accommodates 90 students a fully-equipped conference hall and other facilities.
the vice-president expressed his satisfaction at the construction of the project which will improve the efficiency of the general department of forensic science and criminology.

the new building will be completed in the fourth quarter of this year and it will administer nine laboratories providing evidence testing in the areas of chemistry dna toxicology firearms toolmarks document testing fingerprints electronic evidence and fire debris/arson.
