Dubai's Aramex profit up 14 percent in Q1


(MENAFN) Dubai-based Aramex posted a 14 percent rise in net profit for the first quarter of 2014 to reach USD21.4 million on higher revenues, according to Arab News. Aramex reported USD231.894 million worth revenue in the first quarter compared to USD218.55 million in the same quarter 2013. Aramex CEO Hussein Hachem said: "We will be actively pursuing acquisitions in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, expand our oil and gas services in north and east Africa and will continue to build on our e-commerce proposition through the remainder of 2014."
