(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait city april 26 (kuna): the ministry of information said saturday that it will take any necessary legal action regarding the display of unlicensed books in the 39th islamic book fair currently being held at the international fair grounds in mishref.
in a press statement the ministry said that it has noticed the display of some books that have not been preapproved by the ministry and are consequently unauthorized for public usage. it added that these books will be pulled out of the fair pending legal action regarding them all of which being done in deference to the sanctity of the law and to preserve public interest. the ministry noted that it is closely keeping tabs on the display of all publications at the islamic book fair which opened wednesday.
