Facebook revenue up 72 pct in Q1


(MENAFN) Facebook registered an increase of 72 percent in revenue in the first quarter, hitting USD2.5 billion as its active users continued to grow, QNA reported. The popular social network declared it made USD642 million in the last quarter, increasing from USD219 million in 2013. The number of daily active users increased 21 percent to reach 802 million visitors, 609 million of which accessed the site via mobile devices, while the number of monthly active users increased 15 percent to 1.28 billion visitors, Facebook said.
