Egypt's Interim President Receives Phone Call from South African President


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Cairo April 24 - Egypt's Interim President Adly Mansour has received a telephone call from President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma in which they discussed relations between the two countries and a number of African issues of common interest.

According to a statement issued by the Egyptian presidency the call made last night came after Egypt received a presidential envoy from South Africa a few weeks ago which contributed to the launch of a positive dialogue on bilateral relations and which served the interests of the African continent.

The two leaders' visions agreed on the importance of the Egyptian-South African cooperation to serve the interests of both countries and the future of the entire African continent.
