Medcare Hospital launches green initiative

The initiative has been designed as one of the strongest ways to protect the environment and to save earth. The green initiative highlights the importance of going green and planting trees, which will benefit the environment today as well as for the future generation. The programmealso focuses on the three R's, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The event received an overwhelming response with over 100+ people attending the event. The tree planting event was inaugurated by Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare and mentioned that "We are pleased to launch the initiative by Medcare Hospital, as part of the Earth Day celebrations. Saving the Environment and Conserving for the Future are topics which are told very often but implemented rarely. The event had a Green Initiative Booth with posters spreading messages and creating awareness on planting trees and thinking green, with a plants stall as well at the event. There was also a presentation on the green initiative program, educating people on the benefits of planting trees and avoiding activities which can harm the environment.
