(MENAFN) Dubai"s trade with emerging countries in the Americas, such as Mexico, Brazil, #Argentina and Chile, has boosted by 26 percent in 2013 to reach USD4.709 billion compared to USD3.757 billion in 2012, according to the Emirates 24/7.

Dubai Customs said that the #UAE is making a great success in improving growth of trade with the four countries.

Dubai-Mexco trade increased 56 percent USD2.20 billion in 2013. Imports from #Mexico got the highest value with phone devices representing USD1.034 billion, followed by cargo transport vehicles reaching USD4628 million.


Dubai"s trade with #Chile also increased 34 percent, reaching USD225.15 million in 2013. Major imports included milk, timber, and fruits like apple and pear.
