(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Director General of the Executive Office of the GCC Health Ministers' Council Dr. Tawfiq Khoja said Sunday the development of health statistics bulletin was important.
Khoja, speaking in a meeting of undersecretaries of ministries of health and planning to discuss the development of the statistical bulletin and health indicators, said the meeting aimed generally at upgrading health-related information and make them accessible.
He said 18 new health-related indicators were added to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), as well as adding statistics of developed countries for the purpose of comparison.
Kuwait health undersecretary Dr. Qais Al-Duwairi today's meeting aimed at monitoring the health situation to improve health services.
