Bangladesh exports up 13 percent in 9 months


(MENAFN) Export income in Bangladesh increased in the first nine months of the current fiscal year beginning July, 2013, Xinhua reported. An official with the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) said that the country's export income soared 13 percent to USD22.24 billion in the period. The official said that exports during March alone increased 4.79 percent from the same month a year before to reach USD2.413 billion. EPB data show that exports during the corresponding nine-month period in the previous fiscal year increased 10.16 percent to USD19.7 million.
