of sonam and word vomit

sonam kapoor completely ignored shraddha kapoor two days ago at an event in mumbai. both entered the venue at the same time and while shraddha did try to grab sonam’s attention the latter simply walked away. sonam recently made fun of deepika padukone who used to be a good friend saying she was on a pr overdrive. sonam has also firmly planted her foot in her mouth by making statements like “i’ve been considered as an icon at..(sic) in my 20s when people like..after in their 40s like after they die are considered as icons i think it’s amazing” and “just bcoz you look like ordinary and you act loud doesn’t mean you’re a good actor. that’s like rubbish” on koffee with karan. maybe sonam should consider laying low for a while.

name game

imtiaz ali’s upcoming film featuring ranbir kapoor and deepika padukone has finally been named tamaasha. it had the tentative title of window seat for a long time. this will be a travel-based film. imtiaz ali had said that the film is about the soul of a storyteller in a mechanical world. ranbir’s other film roy has been postponed. there is a major date clash happening in his work schedule because he is working on bombay velvet and jagga jasoos simultaneously. these two movies cleary have a priority in his work diary.

hello world

the welcome back team have wrapped up their second shooting schedule in dubai. towards the end of the schedule producer firoz nadiadwala’s wife delivered a baby boy in mumb. nadiadwala rushed to be by his family’s side but came back to re-join the shooting the next day itself. the baby has been named mubarak. we hear the entire cast and crew got together and celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake on the film’s set.

there’s something about ranbir

ranbir is undoubtedly one of the most popular actors in bollywood amongst both audiences and actresses. even star kids cannot get enough of him. alia bhatt said she wanted to marry him on a recent chat show. recently director anurag kashyap’s daughter aaliyah and sridevi’s youngest daughter khushi went all the way to sri lanka where ranbir was shooting for bombay velvet to get a picture clicked with him. his popularity seems to be growing by leaps and bounds.

age sensitive

this actor who is on the wrong side of forty does not like be reminded of his age. when he maintained a beard recently his media managers made sure they kept sending his images to the press perhaps to remind them that he is still considered one of the most good looking actors. a few days ago when a television reporter asked him whether he sports a certain look in one of his forthcoming films because the colour of his beard fluctuated between silver and black the actor got upset and when the camera was shut down angrily asked the reporter “what if i called you ugly how would you feel?”. surprisingly he shaved his beard the next day saying his kid does not like it. in spite of being considered good looking he has been acting insecure of late. looks like the rules of the industry are changing and everyone is feeling the heat.
