kate winslet says her nude portrait in titanic still haunts her and she refuses to autograph a copy of it. in the james cameron directed 1997 blockbuster she lay down on a sofa while co-star leonardo dicaprio sketched her reports mirror.co.uk.
fans still ask her to sign copies of the picture said to have been drawn by cameron. the 38-year-old actress said: “i don’t sign that one. it feels very uncomfortable. why would you do that? people ask me to sign that one a lot and actually there’s a photo of it as well that someone’s lifted from a still of the film.”
“that photo gets passed around. it’s like ‘no i didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that i would end up seeing 17 years later. it is still haunting me. it’s quite funny really” winslet added.
