Qatari real estate transactions register USD1.15m


(MENAFN) A report by real estate firm Century 21 Qatar showed that real estate transactions in Qatar have reached USD1.15 billion, with Doha registering USD411 million, forming around 37 percent of the total transaction value, The Peninsula reported.



Al Rayyan scored the second highest transaction value in March with USD356 million. AL Wakra came third, with transaction value of USD112.5 million, followed by Umm Salal and Al Da'ayem municipalities registering USD104.6 million and USD95.2 million, respectively.



Despite the decline in the transaction value by 28.5 percent compared to the previous week, Qatar's real estate sector continued to grow during the first week of April recording about 228 transactions with a value of USD356 million
