The brightest rising stars from bollywood made an appearance for the season finale of koffee with karan. parineeti chopra made her debut on the show while alia bhatt enjoyed her second round. the actors were all praise for each other. alia spoke about her obsession with ranbir kapoor whereas parineeti tried to clear the air about the rumours of her affair with director maneesh sharma.

Karan: there is so much conjecture about maneesh (sharma) and you and you have gone on record and said he is your 4am friend. so at 4am do you call him or tap him?

Parineeti: ya ya!! but my feelings for maneesh is totally different. i cannot explain it.

Karan: so much has been said about parineeti and you is there an unnecessary vibe to create that stir because nothing else is happening?
Alia: i think that’s what it is! wherever i go i am asked: can two actresses be friends or do you think there is a rivalry just because i said whatever about styling and everything people have completely forgotten the fact that i have praised her an ample amount before that. so i messaged her way before the show was out that ‘listen this has happened so please don’t…’
Karan: you kept on saying that whenever you went for highway promotions you were being asked about parineeti..
Alia: yaa.. they kept asking..because when the promos were out they were like you both don’t like each other what is the problem this and that! so we have cleared that but everywhere i have gone i have been asked all these questions.
Parineeti: same here even in my promotions. any interview i do it’s all about – is this the new cat fight and do you not get along how do you take it? whatever! what did you say to her? i said listen alia called me when student didn’t even release so technically she was not even an actress that time.
Karan: so alia you definitely have a sense of possessiveness for varun and siddharth that i know for a fact! you feel a bit territorial. so when these boys work with parineeti how does it make you feel?
Alia: no they are constantly pulling my leg. ‘o pari is so sexy..o pari is like this..pari is like that!!’ but i know that they..sorry (to parineeti) love me more than they love her. and i know that for sure but it’s the same way like arjun can love pari more than he loves me! so that’s fine.
Karan: but rumours say that you have made that turn also!
Parineeti: even i would like to know this!
Karan: you have managed to get arjun also to do this flip.

Karan: so what is your vibe like with ranbir?
Alia: i remember the first time i spoke to ranbir you called him up when rockstar released and you said here talk to ranbir tell him how much you love him! and i just spoke so much rubbish. but later i have hung out with ranbir and i still think he is really adorable and i still want to marry him.
Karan: (laughs) you want to marry ranbir kapoor?
Alia: yeah!
Karan: have you told this to his mother? is neetu ji aware of your future plans and more importantly does katrina know?
Alia: everybody knows my plan! i have gone on record and said it as you said and i am very open about it except to ranbir. i don’t tell ranbir.
