Kuwaiti trio betrayed by guide kidnapped in Syria


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has established urgent contacts with the Turkish authorities after confirming the news about the kidnapping of three Kuwaitis in Syria, reports Al-Anba daily. The sources said the three Kuwaitis were kidnapped inside the Syrian territory by the gangs after being betrayed by their guide during relief operations. The sources said a total of five men have been kidnapped - the two others are GCC citizens. The ministry is said to have established direct contacts after the kidnappers demanded ransom for their release



Vehicle stolen: An Egyptian expatriate who works at Abdullah Port Garage affiliated to the General Traffic Department lodged a complaint at the police station against three unknown masked individuals who broke into the garage at night and stole a vehicle, reports Al-Nahar daily. In his complaint, he reported that the suspects attacked him and placed a knife near his stomach, threatening to murder him. They then drove away from the location in the vehicle. Officers from the General Department for Criminal Evidences rushed to the location to collect evidences and lift fingerprints



Woman harassed: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Abu Halifa Police Station accusing an unidentified person of pursuing and molesting her, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily quoting the victim added, the suspect followed her from her home until she reached a commercial complex in Mangaf. She has given police details of the suspect and description of his car
