The ceremony for distribution of Kuwaiti grants to UN agencies for victims of the Syrian crisis was a humanitarian gesture which draws gratitude and appreciation from all around the world to His Highness the Amir, Permanent Delegate at the UN Ambassador Jamal Al-Ghunaim told KUNA Tuesday
The numerous praise of His Highness the Amir's effort in dealing with the Syrian crisis is a proof of Kuwait's international pioneering role in supporting human rights causes, which made it one of the most important centers to support humanitarian operations in the world, noted Al-Ghunaim
He also indicated that supporting humanitarian operations around the world became one of main goals of Kuwaiti diplomacy
He added that several chairpersons of UN organizations asked to visit Kuwait to show gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir
